Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe CHICAGO, March 17 (UPI) -- Following difficulties with his girlfriend in Poland, a Chicago man went on a rampage, smashing car windows and severing his own penis. Six or seven police officers confronted Jakub Fik at his home after receiving reports Wednesday morning. Fik allegedly hurled several knives and his severed member at the officers. Advertisement "About 10 feet from the front porch, right on the sidewalk, was his penis," said Chicago Police Sgt. Edward Dolan. Officers stunned Fik with a Taser and took him into custody. He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of criminal damage to property, said Officer Laura Kubiak. Doctors at Northwestern Memorial Hospital reattached Fik's penis. Dr. Greg Bales, associate professor of urology at the University of Chicago said that although operations to reattach penises are rare, they are usually successful if done within a few hours.
