FALUN, Sweden, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- A potato gun -- already considered a weapon in Sweden -- has gotten its owner into more trouble since it was built more powerful than a revolver.

A 25-year-old Falun, Sweden, resident was in court Tuesday because of the homemade spud-firing weapon.

The Local reports neighbors of the man called the police after hearing loud gun shots.

Police located the man and saw him fire the gun -- with flames coming out of the end.

The National Forensics Laboratory tested the gun and said it had more power than a Browning revolver.
