Passion Marketing Research Associates of Los Angeles asked women to choose one item from among flowers, candy, jewelry, a romantic dinner or a handwritten letter. Advertisement Sixty-two percent of the respondents say their most cherished gift on the Day of Romance would be a letter in the handwriting of their beloved. Forget sending the letter via e-mail -- the women prefer the missive sealed in an envelope and mailed or delivered.
