The gun was discovered by a city employee. Advertisement It's the second time the unidentified officer has been accused of leaving his gun unattended this year, reported WDIV-TV in Detroit Tuesday. Earlier in the year, the officer left a loaded weapon in his car with the motor running in the driveway of a friend. A passerby stole the car with the weapon. That weapon was never recovered.
