BANGKOK, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Buddhist authorities in Thailand have ejected two monks from their temple after they were caught at a strip bar, Sky News reported Friday.

The pair, from the northern province of Loei, were reportedly found in the red-light district of Pattaya, just outside "Honey's" go-go bar and taken back to their temple.

But two hours later they were back in the district, this time in a tavern begging for money from tourists.

Temple authorities stripped the pair of their robes.
