NEW YORK, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Time Warner Cable has apologized to the family of a 5-year-old girl who was happily watching a children's film when hard-core porn appeared on screen.

Leigh Ann Umbria thought she was going to see "Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure" on TV, but part way into the E.B. White drama she saw a couple copulating, the New York Post reported Tuesday.

"She says, 'Pop Pop, what's that?'," her grandfather recounted, at which point he turned to the set and also saw intermittent intercourse, unlike anything White had published before.

He complained to Time Warner Cable, which initially dismissed such a possibility. But they investigated and found he was right.

"Please accept our sincere apology for any inconvenience you may have experienced," Suzanne Giuliani, the director of public affairs for Time Warner, wrote in a handwritten card to Umbria.

He also received a free month of cable.
