ELVERUM, Norway, Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Norwegian wildlife officials were searching the woods for a moose that created "complete chaos" in an Elverum grocery store Thursday.
The moose crashed through the window of Arne Halberg's store, then galloped through the aisles, tearing down shelves and scattering goods.
"It's complete chaos here inside," Halberg told NRK Norwegian Broadcasting. "Shelves are torn down, but the worst is all the blood and droppings the moose left behind."
The huge animal eventually tired of his store romp, and fled into nearby woods, Aftenposten reported.
Wildlife officials said they wanted to check the animal's wounds and also find out if it may be mentally disturbed.
