Tom Jones, 61, has spent some $125,000 hiring up to 2,000 escorts in three years, and says he became addicted to the women's company, The Mirror reported. Advertisement But the Oswestry town council has ordered him to stop after neighbors complained and sought an Anti-Social Behavior Order -- known in Britain as an Asbo -- against him. Jones claims he never has sex with the girls because of a medical condition, but claims he became hooked on their company after spotting a newspaper ad. "I didn't know what an escort girl was," he told the newspaper. "Now I have been getting used to having one call at the weekend and others in the week." The former showman said most of the dates are similar. "Sometimes it is just a meal with Elvis playing," he said. "Occasionally I sing, 'Are You Lonesome Tonight.'"
