Witnesses testified Ciantar became enraged when Gavin McGarth of London went directly to the front of a line to order a Big Mac.

Ciantar confronted the man, who turned and ran. Ciantar chased him, and stabbed him in his back with a kitchen knife.

McGarth bled to death before an ambulance arrived at the North London scene.
