Kaczynski claimed in the legal papers that the material is a boon for "serious researchers" and would "help to reveal the true facts" of his criminal case, The Smoking Gun has learned. Advertisement In a 150 page motion that was mostly written by hand, the convicted bomber says federal authorities have repeatedly ignored his requests for the return of his belongings, which were seized in April 1996. "There is no reason why the government should be allowed to shilly-shally indefinitely," Kaczynski argued in a recent U.S. District Court filing. In an August 4 "motion for decision," Kaczynski claimed that if investigators were allowed to dispose of his property, he would suffer "irreparable harm." Thesmokinggun.com is a Web site devoted to celebrities. Kaczynski is serving a life sentence in Florence, Colo., for a bombing spree that went on for several years.
