LONG ISLAND, N.Y., July 10 (UPI) -- Suffolk County detectives have dug up more than $700,000 in alleged prostitution cash from beneath a Long Island home.

District Attorney Thomas Spota told the New York Post the cash was a big chunk of more than $1 million recovered in the investigation of Exotic Exports, an escort service.

"This prostitution ring was earning in excess of $50,000 in cash every month," Spota said.

Officials wouldn't disclose under what home they found the loot.

The cash was found bundled in plastic and jammed into two buckets buried under a concrete basement floor. Authorities said a separate search of the basement crawlspace of Exotic Exports owners Ronald and Melissa Grab netted $158,000.

Five women who worked for the Grabs were also charged with prostitution.
