MUSIC AND MORE CASH TRIBUTE OUT THIS WEEK Johnny Cash's tribute album "Kindred Spirits" released Tuesday is a 14-track compilation of his greatest songs. The album includes Bruce Springsteen's version of "Give My Love to Rose" and Little Richard's rendition of "Get Rhythm," the flip-side of Cash's single, "I Walk the Line." Bob Dylan plays "Train of Love," contemporary bluesman Keb' Mo' delivers "Folsom Prison Blues" and Mary Chapin Carpenter, Sheryl Crow, and Emmylou Harris team up to perform "Flesh and Blood." Cash and his wife, June Carter Cash, collaborate in his "Meet Me In Heaven." VASE STOLEN FROM HANK WILLIAMS' GRAVESITE For the second time, a vase memorializing Hank Williams has been stolen from his gravesite in Montgomery, Ala. Advertisement The large marble vase engraved with the initials "H.W." disappeared last Saturday night from the cemetery where Williams and his wife, Audrey, are buried. The same vase was stolen and recovered undamaged three years ago. STONEMAN FAMILY MEMBER DIES Funeral services were held in Nashville Wednesday for Jimmy Stoneman, singer-bass player for the Stoneman Family. Stoneman died Sunday at 65 after a long bout with Lou Gehrig's disease. Formed by Jimmy's father in the 1940s, the Stoneman Family played a blend of bluegrass and country music and won the CMA's vocal group of the year award in 1967. HEAVYWEIGHTS ADDED TO CMA AWARDS SHOW Add Faith Hill, Alan Jackson and George Strait to the performance lineup at the 36th annual CMA Awards show on Nov. 6. Already booked to play the show, from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, are some of country music's biggest stars -- Shania Twain, Toby Keith and Kenny Chesney. The program will be carried live on CBS.
