Sharon Osbourne, wife and manager of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and executive producer of the reality MTV show "The Osbournes," told People magazine her cancer has spread.

Osbourne had a foot of her colon surgically removed earlier this month, but doctors discovered the cancer was not completely gone.

"It was not the best news," Osbourne told People. "You think nothing will ever happen to you. You're invincible. Then after you get over the shock and panic, you realize how lucky you are to be alive."

Osbourne, 49, was diagnosed with colorectal cancer July 1 and underwent surgery two days later. On July 8, she learned the disease had spread and she is scheduled for chemotherapy to treat the cancer.

Though MTV's cameras were banned from filming the surgery, they will shoot Osbourne's chemotherapy sessions for the new episodes of the series scheduled to air this fall.

MYSTIKAL FACES LIFE SENTENCE

Louisiana's superstar rapper Mystikal is free on a $250,000 bond awaiting trial on aggravated rape and extortion charges that could put him behind bars for life.

Mystikal and two other men, Leland Ellis and Vercy Carter, surrendered to Baton Rouge police last Thursday. Mystikal is accused of attacking a 40-year-old woman at his home July 3 after allegedly threatening to inform police she had accepted a check written out to her on his checking account that he had not approved, a police statement said.

Mystikal allegedly phoned the two other defendants, who came to his house and joined Mystikal in a gang rape of the woman, according to the police report.

A conviction for aggravated rape carries a mandatory life sentence in Louisiana. The extortion charges carry a term of one to 15 years.

Mystikal was the center of controversy at the 2001 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival when he showed up two hours late for a performance at the New Orleans Fairgrounds, prompting a near-riot. His most recent album, "Tarantula," debuted at No. 4 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in January and peaked at No. 25 on The Billboard 200. The album was certified gold in April by the Recording Industry Association of America for U.S. shipments of 500,000 copies. His new album, "Prince of the South," is due out in September.

OASIS STAR BASHES QUEEN MUM

The Gallagher brothers generate as much heat with their mouths as with their hit rock band Oasis. Noel Gallagher demonstrated a willingness to take on any subject by bashing England's late Queen Mother in a Details interview.

"I've changed people's lives," Gallagher told Details. "People have conceived children while listening to our music. I wonder, are they gonna give me a state funeral?"

Mills reportedly responded by saying if she wanted money she would have married somebody "a lot richer."
