COUNTRY MUSIC TRIVIA MUSIC AND MORE BROOKS' NEW ALBUM 'DARK' INDEED Now that Garth Brook's new album, "Scarecrow," has been released, many are remembering a statement he made last February at a country music seminar in Nashville. News provider country.com's Jay Orr says Brooks noted that when he finally got back into the limelight with a new project, it would have rather "dark" content. Orr says it's likely that the trauma of the singer's divorce and other personal matters may be the reason that "Scarecrow" is dark ... indeed. The final track of the CD, for example, was inspired by the death of his mother. The new album is now on store shelves. Brooks still contends that this will be his last CD and will continue to keep a low profile, except for an occasional promotional tour or charity concert.
