More than 40 unique items will be on the block Nov. 8-18. Other artists taking part include 'N Sync and Joni Mitchell. All proceeds will benefit P.S. Arts, a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization dedicated to restoring the arts to public education in under-served areas.

JOHNNY CASH

Country's "Man in Black," venerable Johnny Cash, has gone home ... again. He was released from a Nashville hospital after a second stay for treatment of recurring bronchitis. This time he was hospitalized for only a few days. His earlier hospitalization was for two weeks.

Cash has a medical condition where he is susceptible to all sorts of infections and often has a problem getting rid of them. Published reports indicate that in both trips to the hospital, his doctors thought it was best to treat him in the sterile environment of a medical center where he could be watched more closely than at his rural Tennessee home.

MICHAEL JACKSON

GetMusic.com says Michael Jackson's recent cyberchat marked the Web site's most successful online event to date -- shattering the previous record held by Eminem in August 2000.

In a rare appearance just days prior to the Oct. 30 release of his new album "Invincible," the pop singer logged on for a live audio chat -- his only one since 1995 -- that drew tens of thousands of questions from fans from around the world including Canada, Netherlands, Germany, Russia, Iran, Australia, India, Italy, France, and more.

The Oct. 26 event was part of the Michael Jackson Virtual In-store that took place at Jackson's new Web site, MichaelJackson.com, and featured the CD's world premiere during a 24-hour listening party.

In addition to "Invincible," Epic Records released special re-mastered editions of the Jackson albums "Off The Wall," "Dangerous," "BAD" and "Thriller" on Oct. 16.

The first single being released from the album is titled "The World's Greatest" by R. Kelly.

The CD hits stores Nov. 27.

DREAM STREET

Dream Street's self-titled debut CD (on the UEG Records/edel Entertainment label) has been certified "gold," meaning more than 500,000 units have been sold since its release in July.

The teenage boy band also has its first live video and DVD due in stores Tuesday. Besides featuring the group's live stage performance, it also includes 30 minutes of exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and interviews (DVD: $19.95/VHS: $10.98).

TONY BENNETT

Tony Bennett will make a rare in-store autograph appearance this Saturday at Spin Street in Uncasville, Conn. The legendary performer will meet fans and sign autographs (beginning at 2 p.m. ET).
