Nicki Minaj celebrates birthday with new beau Kenneth Petty

Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Nicki Minaj celebrated her 36th birthday with her new boyfriend, Kenneth Petty.

The rapper shared a series of photos and videos from her birthday getaway Sunday after officially turning 36 years old the day previous.

One picture shows Minaj embracing and putting her leg around Petty. Minaj quoted the Adele song "Hello" in the caption.

"Did you ever make it out of that town where nothing ever happens?... it's no secret... that the both of us... are running out of time," she wrote.

The snapshot had received over 1.9 million likes as of Monday morning, although some fans expressed concern about the relationship. E! News confirmed Petty is a registered sex offender in New York.

Minaj has yet to address Petty's history, although she denied he has social media accounts in a tweet Monday.

"FAKE PAGE. no social media," she wrote.

The "Chun-Li" rapper was first linked to Petty in November. She split from Nas in December 2017 after eight months of dating.

"Nicki and Nas fizzled out," a source told Us Weekly in January. "They were never in the same place at the same time, so it was hard to move their relationship forward."
