The start of a rare "blue moon," which is red due to the pollution in the atmosphere, rises over Beijing on August 30, 2012. Called "blue" due the rarity of it, the "blue moon" occurs when there's a second full moon in one calendar month, with the next one not happening until July 2015. U.S. astronaut Neil Armstrong's family has suggested paying tribute to the first man on the moon by looking up at the moon and giving the astronaut a wink. UPI/Stephen Shaver
