Chinese visit Tiananmen Square during the May Day holdiay in Beijing

Chinese tourists visit Tiananmen Square, featuring a giant portrait of Sun Yat-sen, considered the father of modern China, during the three-day May Day holiday in Beijing on May 2, 2010. Celebrated on May 1-3, May Day, also know as Labour Day, is a major holiday in China. UPI/Stephen Shaver
