SOUTH AFRICAN BAT-EARED FOX KITS EMERGE AT SAN DIEGO ZOO

A newborn South African bat eared fox learns to stalk and hunt birds at the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park on June 8, 2007. Born in late April this youngster and his four siblings (not pictured) have just started making a public appearance outside the den.
