Ettore Sottsass: Design Radical at The Met Breuer

Furniture and other items are on display at a press preview of Ettore Sottsass: Design Radical at The Met Breuer on July 20, 2017 in New York City. A seminal figure in 20th-century design, the Italian architect and designer Ettore Sottsass created a vast body of work, the result of an exceptionally productive career that spanned more than six decades. The exhibit opens on July 21st and includes architectural drawings, interiors, furniture, machines, ceramics, glass, jewelry, textiles and pattern, painting, and photography.
