NASA's First SLS Rocket is Transported to the VAB at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida

NASA's first SLS rocket is rolled to the Vehicle Assembly Building from the Pegasus Barge on a specialized transporter at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida on Thursday, April 29, 2021. SLS is scheduled for its maiden mission by the end of 2021. The rocket is NASA's heavy-lift vehicle to be used on its Artemis Program, boosting American men and women back to the moon by 2024.
