LAP97061801-18 JUNE 1997-LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, USA: As a statue of General Douglas MacArthur looms in the background, Filipino World War II veterans continue June 18 to protest against what they say is the federal government's broken promise to give them the same benefits afforded other U.S. veterans.
