The course is designed to train Air Force personnel in Air Mobility contingency operations. This includes setting up defensive positions in remote locations woldwide.The mission of the 421st Ground Combat Readiness Squadron, Air Mobility Warfare Center, Fort Dix, is to formulate doctrine and develop tactics. The 421 GCRS standardizes training to enhance Air Mobility Command's ability to support National Command Authority taskings during war, crisis, and worldwide contingency operations.
