Hamas fighters hand over 3 Israeli hostages to Red Cross at al-Saraya as part of 1st phase of ceasefire and prisoner swap deal between Israel and Hamas, in Gaza City, Gaza, on Sunday on January 19, 2025.A total of 33 Israeli hostages, taken captive by Hamas and allied groups on Oct. 7, 2023, were to be released in the first phase of the ceasefire, in exchange for 1,890 Palestinian prisoners.
