NASA's Space Shuttle Atlantis launches from the Kennedy Space Center

NASA's Space Shuttle Atlantis launches with a crew of seven at 2:45 PM from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida on February 7, 2008. With Atlantis' successful launch to orbit on mission STS 122, the crew will prepare for Saturday's docking with the International Space Station and deliver the European Space Agency's Columbus module to the orbiting laboratory.
