STS 115 LAUNCH PREPARATIONS

Space Shuttle Atlantis sits poised on Launch Complex 39B at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida on the evening of September 5, 2006. Atlantis is scheduled for launch at approximately 12:30 PM on September 6. Its primary mission for the International crew is to resume construction of the International Space Station.
