John Lewis Funeral Procession over the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Alabama

The casket containing the body of Congressman John Lewis, D-GA, comes to a halt after crossing the Edmund Pettus Bridge during his funeral procession in Selma, Alabama on Sunday, July 26, 2020. In 1965 at the age of 25, Lewis helped to organize a march for voting rights on the Edmund Pettus Bridge, where his skull was fractured after being attacked by police.
