JER2002072407 - AL KHADER, West Bank, July 24 (UPI) - An Israeli soldier talks to Palestinian boys on a donkey at the Al Khader checkpoint near Bethlehem during the lifting of the Israeli military curfew, July 24, allowing the population to restock on supplies. Israeli security is on high alert after Hamas vowed revenge for the Israeli military action that dropped a one-ton bomb from a F-16 warplane killing the commander of the Hamas military wing and thirteen civilians, including nine children in Gaza this week. dh/Debbie Hill UPI
