Palestinian Workers Arrive To Receive the COVID-19 Vaccine At An Israeli Checkpoint

Palestinian workers arrive to receive the first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at the Lamed Hei Checkpoint between Gush Etzion and Beit Shemesh, on Monday, March 8, 2021. Israel started a two week campaign to vaccine some 100,000 Palestinian workers from the West Bank who hold permits to work in Israel and Jewish settlements. The vaccination campaign is a joint project by the Israeli Heath Ministry, Ministry of Defense, Land Crossing Authority and the Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories.
