Israeli warplane levels factory building

GAZ2002071803 - GAZA STRIP, July 17 (UPI) -- Palestinians look at damage following an Israeli missile attack on a building near the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip on July 17, 2002. An Israeli warplane slammed a missile into the factory building, the Israeli army and Palestinian security sources said. There were no immediate reports of casualties in the strike on the building which the Palestinian sources said was a foundry. Israel Radio quoted military officials as saying it served as a weapons factory for the militant group Hamas. cc/cc/Ismael Mohamad UPI
