Hurricane Sandy bings devistation to New York

Patients are evacuated from the New York University Medical Center after the hospital's generators failed following a blackout after Hurricane Sandy beared down on the region on October 30, 2012 in New York City. The super storm, which devistated parts of the eastern seaboard, has prompted officials to shut down all public transportation systems and schools and order the evacuation of thousands who live in coastal areas.
