David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez implicated for drugs in 2003

Boston Red Sox David Ortiz confirmed a report on July 30, 2009 that he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in 2003. Teammate at the time Manny Ramirez was also implicated. Both sluggers guided the Boston Red Sox to World Series victories in 2004 and 2007.
