Evacuations Begin After Kakhovka Dam Blast

Russian Minister of Defence Sergei Shoigu gives a statement about the situation at the Kakhovka after the dam blast overnight, in unknown location, , Tuesday, June 6, 2023. While both Ukrainian and Russian oficials accused each other of destroying the Nova Kakhovka dam in the Russian-controlled part of the Kherson region, Ukrainian authurities started the evacuations from several villages on the right bank of the Dnipro River due to a high risk of flooding.
