NASA's Phoenix Lander on Mars

The mini-DVD from the Planetary Society contains a message to future Martian explorers, science fiction stories, art inspired by the Red Planet, and the names of more than a quarter million earthlings. Phoenix touched down on the Red Planet at 7:53 p.m. Eastern Time, May 25, 2008, in an arctic region called Vastitas Borealis, at 68 degrees north latitude, 234 degrees east longitude.
