National Zoo Panda Leaves for China

Giant Panda Tai Shan is fed by his handlers who say goodbye to him in his shipping crate at the National Zoo, as he gets ready for his trip to China on February 4, 2010 in Washington, DC. Tai Shan was born at the zoo in 2005, and is leaving to China as part of the agreement between the United States and China. There are 14 pandas on loan from China in U.S. zoos. UPI/Pat Benic
