Obama Unveils Program to Connect American Schools to High-speed Internet

President Barack Obama shakes hands with business leaders and guests after he unveiled a speedup to his ConnectED initiative at Buck Lodge Middle School in Adelphi, Maryland on February 4, 2014. ConnectED is to provide high-speed Internet to all students in American schools. In addition to the Federal Communications Commission directing $2 billion for that purpose, several companies are donating $750 on digital tablets, computers and software. UPI/Pat Benic
