Evacuations Begin After Kakhovka Dam Blast

Water flows strongly through a breakthrough in the Kakhovka dam in Kakhovka, Ukraine, Tuesday, June 6, 2023. While both Ukraine and Russia oficials accused each other of destroying the Nova Kakhovka dam in the Russian-controlled part of the Kherson region, Ukrainian authurities started the evacuations from several villages on the right bank of the Dnipro River due to a high risk of flooding.
