President Obama Announces Shift in Immigration Law in Rose Garden Announcemen

U.S. President Barack Obama announces that the administration will stop deporting most young illegal immigrants who came to the United States as children, during a Rose Garden event at the White House in Washington, DC on June 15, 2012. The young immigrants would be allowed to apply for work permits if they met certain criteria, but Obama noted that the policy shift did not mean immunity nor amnesty. UPI/Pat Benic
