NEW BABY ELEPHANT BORN AT ZOO

The St. Louis Zoo has released this photograph of a new Asian elephant baby born on August 2, 2006 in St. Louis. Ellie, the Zoo's 34-year-old Asian elephant, gave birth to this 341-pound baby girl. This is Ellie's second baby and the first for the baby's father, Raja. Raja was the first elephant ever born at the St. Louis Zoo. Now, at age 13-1/2, he's started a new family, with another baby on the way in February. (UPI Photo/St. Louis Zoo)
