New giraffe born at St. Louis Zoo

A two week old reticulated giraffe trots around his pen as the newest addition to the St. Louis Zoo in St. Louis on September 24, 2010. Weighing 136 pounds and standing over 6 feet tall, this baby is the seventh calf for Susie and Dexter.The giraffe is the tallest living land animal, with females reaching a height of 14 to 16 feet and males towering at 16 to 18 feet.
