Snow Leopard Cubs Play at Brookfield Zoo

Two four-month-old female snow leopard cubs play under the watchful eye of their mother Sarani as they make their public debut at at Brookfield Zoo on October 7, 2015 in Brookfield, Illinois. The two cubs were born to 4-year-old mother Sarani and 5-year-old father Sabu on June 16, 2015 at the suburban Chicago zoo as part of a pairing based on a recommendation from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums' Snow Leopard Species Survival Plan to help increase a genetically diverse and geographically stable population of this endangered species.
