Eunice Kennedy Shriver dies at the age of 88 in Massachusetts

Eunice Kennedy Shriver, founder and chairperson of the Special Olympics, died at at a Cape Cod hospital in Hyannis, Massachusetts on August 11, 2009. She was 88 and the sister of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Ted Kennedy, and mother of Maria Shriver, the first lady of California.
