Citizens Display "Fire Congress" Signs Along an Interstate Highway in Maryland

Vietnam Veteran Chip Bosley along with Jessica Hinzman and child Marina wave next to their "Fire Congress" sign on an overpass along Interstate Highway I-68 in Cumberland, Maryland on October 12, 2013. On the 12th day of a government shutdown, Bosley said he had to do something to help the common citizen, and said all members of the United States Congress should be fired for shutting down the government and not agreeing to increasing the debt ceiling. They received plenty of friendly horn honks from drivers. UPI/Pat Benic
