Funeral of Hamas militant el Abed held in Gaza City

GAZ2002061603 - GAZA, June 16 (UPI) -- Masked Palestinian members of the Islamic Hamas militants group carry the body of Hamas militant Mahmoud el Abed, covered with a green Hamas flag, during his funeral in Gaza City, Sunday, June 16, 2002. El Abed was killed during a gun battle with Israeli soldiers at the Jewish settlement of Dugit in the northern Gaza Strip last night.
