NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell enters Manhattan Federal Court in the Deflategate controversy in New York City on August 12, 2015. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will go before a federal judge in New York today to tell him whether they've made progress toward a settlement. Brady is fighting a four-game suspension imposed by the league for his alleged role in the deflation of footballs before the AFC Championship Game, which propelled the Patriots toward their eventual Super Bowl title.
