MARLON BRANDO GIVING LAND TITLE TO HANK ADAMS
Actor Marlon Brando (L) gives the land title of 40 acres to Hank Adams, head of the Survival of American Indians Association December 30, 1974. The title exchange took place on the site, near U.S.101 in the vicinity of Agoura. Brando refused in 1973 to accept the Academy Award for the movie "The Godfather" and sent a Native American woman in his place to protest the way movies depict Native Americans. (UPI/File)
