Dallas Cowboys player killed in car accident
Dallas Cowboys Josh Brent (pictured) has been charged with intoxication manslaughter after a one-car accident killed teammate practice-squad linebacker and St. Louis native Jerry Brown, in Irving, Texas on December 8, 2012. Police say the accident happened at 2:20 A.M. when Brent, who was speeding, hit a curb causing the car to flip. Brown was found unresponsive at the scene and later died at the hospital. Police also say Brent failed a field sobriety test. Both Brent and Brown were teammates at the University of Illinois. UPI/Irving, Texas Police Department
