Jewish Settler Group Wins Right To Palestinian Hotels In Jerusalem
Palestinians walk inside the Jaffa Gate, in Jerusalem's Old City, near two Palestinian run hotels, the Imperial Hotel and Petra Hostel, June 14, 2019. Israel's Supreme Court ruled in favor of an Jewish settler group, Ateret Cohanim, over the Greek Orthodox Church, in a long running legal battle of the sale of three properties in primarily Palestinian parts of the Old City. Church leaders warn that if the Jewish pro settlement Ateret Cohanim takes control of the properties, that they will close access to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre to Christians and tourists.
