Grammy-winning singer Whitney Houston dies in Beverly Hills

Grammy-winning U.S. R&B singer and actress Whitney Houston died Saturday afternoon, February 11, 2012 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Houston was scheduled to perform at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party later in the evening and the at Sunday's Grammy Awards. Clive Davis, who discovered her some 30 years ago was her mentor.
