As a result of using UV light exposure to N-95 masks for 10 minutes, the masks are able to be utilized for up to five additional shifts, conserving the supply of N-95 masks throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The N-95 masks are the recommended masks needed for health care workers to perform life-saving and medical procedures on patients with the coronavirus. The team are able to sanitize up to 1600 N95 masks per day. Photo by Bill Greenblatt/UPI
